** Subscriber Andreas Ramos responds with this observation: "No, (the dot com boom is) not back like it was. It's back like three times bigger than it was. Ecommerce is three times larger now than it was at the top of the boom. The only difference is the marketing and media; the VCs aren't shelling out hundreds of millions to marketing droids, who aren't handing out hundreds of millions in bribes, er, paid placement to the newspapers and magazines.
