I'm writing a book about corporate blogging for Penguin... and I want your input!
Exciting, yes, to get my first book contract. But as I begin to write, it's daunting.
The book blog
Of course, there is a book blog to accompany the book: BlogSmartCompanies.com And that's where you come in! If you're an author yourself, I want your tips on writing and organizing a book.
If you feel strongly about topics I should include or you want to suggest a case study on corporate blogging or pass on an anecdote, tell me!
I owe you a thank you
BTW, I owe every WordBiz subscriber a debt of gratitude. Writing dozens of articles for you over the past four years is what got me the book contract. I truly value your interest, your feedback and your support.
I hope you'll take a moment to visit the book blog and leave a comment. I want to hear from you!
Or click through and respond to these specific entries:
Got tips for a first-time book author?
Yes or no on the proposed title and sub-title?
Got a great anecdote about a corporate blog?
Going underground to write
On June 27th, 2005 I'm moderating a panel on business blogging at the IABC's mega annual conference in Washington DC: "Blogs: the hot new tool for corporate communicators."
Panelists include senior exec/bloggers from General Motors, Intuit's QuickBooks and ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America). Be sure to say hi if you're at the conference.
Otherwise, I'm going underground for the next few months to write the book. I'm switching to a once-a-month publishing schedule for this newsletter through September.
